Festive Gift Guide 2026
Navratri to Bhai Dooj: Your Festive Silver Guide for the Next Two Months
The festive season doesn't come in waves. It comes in one long, glittering stretch: Navratri, Dussehra, Karwa Chauth, Dhanteras, Diwali, Bhai Dooj, Chhath, and then straight into wedding season. Here's every date that matters, and what to bring home in 925 silver for each one.

Navratri and Dussehra
11 to 20 OctoberNine nights, nine forms of the Goddess, and a home that suddenly smells of incense and fresh flowers. Navratri is already underway, and the last stretch (Ashtami on 19 October, then Dussehra on 20 October) is when most families do their biggest pujas.
What to bring home
Pooja articles. Silver has always had a place in the mandir. Diyas, small idols, Lakshmi charan paduka, kumkum boxes: they feel special on a puja thali and they last for decades. Browse our silver pooja articles for the full range.
Nazariya. Festive crowds, new outfits, lots of compliments. A silver nazariya bracelet is the small, protective piece that goes on a wrist or a little one's ankle and quietly does its job.
Vahan puja. Dussehra is a favourite day for blessing vehicles (Ayudha Puja in the south) and for bringing home a new one. If you'd like a silver piece for the occasion, message us and we'll show you what's available.
Karwa Chauth
29 OctoberThe fast from sunrise to moonrise, the sargi at dawn, the thali, the henna, the wait for the moon. Karwa Chauth is as much about the dressing up as the devotion, and silver looks lovely against all that red and gold.
What to gift or wear
Mangalsutra. A fresh, lightweight silver mangalsutra is a thoughtful Karwa Chauth gift, and it's easy to wear every day, not just once.
Rings. Stackable and adjustable designs in our silver rings collection work for a surprise from a husband or a treat to yourself. For something traditional, pick up a pair of toe rings.
Nazariya. It's a sweet and meaningful gift, a little protection for the person you're fasting for. Have a look at our nazariya collection for men and women.
Ahoi Ashtami follows on 1 November. Mothers fast for their children, so a small silver keepsake from our kids' collection makes a lovely gift.
Dhanteras
6 NovemberThe day that kicks off Diwali, and the one traditionally associated with buying something new in metal. Gold, silver, utensils: the idea is to welcome prosperity into the house before the Lakshmi puja.
What to bring home
Gold and silver coins. They're the classic Dhanteras purchase because they're simple, giftable, and easy to keep for years. For coin availability, weights and today's price, call or message us on +91 95408 88690 and we'll walk you through the options.
Pooja articles. A new silver diya or idol for the Diwali puja is a very common Dhanteras buy. See the pooja articles collection.
For the new vehicle. Lots of families time a car or two-wheeler purchase for Dhanteras. If you'd like a silver piece to go with the vahan puja, get in touch and we'll help you choose.
Diwali
8 NovemberLakshmi Puja is the heart of the festival: new clothes, a thorough clean, rows of diyas, and the whole family at the puja. It's also the biggest gifting day of the year.
Ideas that work
- For the puja: Lakshmi-Ganesh pieces and silver diyas from our pooja collection.
- For family and friends: earrings, pendants and bracelets are easy to gift and easy to love.
- For colleagues and clients: silver coins are a classic corporate Diwali gift. Message us if you need more than a few.
The days after Diwali are quieter but just as meaningful: Govardhan Puja on 10 November and Bhai Dooj on 11 November.
Bhai Dooj
11 NovemberSisters, this one's your excuse to gift something your brother will actually use. Look at our men's silver collection, including chains and a clean silver ring. A nazariya bracelet works well for brothers, too.
Chhath Puja
13 to 16 NovemberFour days of devotion to the Sun God and Chhathi Maiya, observed with great discipline by families across Bihar, Jharkhand, eastern UP and beyond. Silver pooja pieces are a thoughtful offering or gift for those who observe the vrat. Browse the pooja articles and message us if you're looking for something specific.
Dev Uthani Ekadashi and the Start of Wedding Season
20 November onwardOnce the gods wake up, the shehnai starts. Dev Uthani Ekadashi is traditionally seen as the beginning of the wedding season, which means gifting, trousseaus and a lot of silver changing hands.
For brides, look at mangalsutras, toe rings and anklets. For guests, a pooja piece or a pretty pendant set from the pendant sets collection is an easy win.
